The design of your landing page is important. It can make the difference between somebody buying from your online business or going away and never coming back.

2. An Attention Grabbing Headline

Your landing page needs a headline that grabs the attention of the reader. It must also support the objective of what you want your page to achieve. Test different headlines to establish which one is better at helping you achieve the results that you want.

3. Choose Your Images Carefully

Graphics and photos can really can improve a landing page but, if they are used inappropriately, they can overpower the page turn into a distraction. The image should relate to your headline and the objective of the page.

4. What Reassurance Do You Offer?

If you want visitors to take the action when they come to your page, you need to provide reassurance that they are doing the right thing. This can be done by showing testimonials from satisfied customers, recommendations, facts or statistics.

5. Call To Action

Every successful landing page has a call to action. It’s the only way your readers know what they are expected to do next. If it’s not clear what they need to do on the page, they’re not going to do it and they will leave, probably never to return.

6. Opt-in Form

Finally, if your objective is to encourage visitors to opt-in to your email list, then your page design needs to obviously include an opt-in form. Everything on the page needs to highlight the benefits entering their email address into the opt-in form.
