Almost all advanced keyword tools, like Ahrefs and many more, can provide you with the overview of the competitors’ keywords with the data about them.

You can use competitors’ keywords to build a content marketing strategy upon them. Just learn what keyword bring your competitors the most of the traffic or backlinks and create your piece of content with much more information.

 

Boost Your Keywords Powers

Even those keywords that already help your website to rank for some time can be a good base for improvement. Check out your Google Search Console and find out what keywords your site ranks for in Top10. Then you may check out your articles and think about how you can improve their content. Maybe change some outdated parts or add some new data. Improving your old posts can be beneficial for your website and help you rank higher and bring more traffic.

  • Traffic and clicks are even more important than search volume. The keyword may have a high search volume but absolutely no clicks. It’s because Google now may answer more questions right in SERP and users don’t have to click links to find the answer. Choose keywords that have a decent amount of clicks.
  • Always target the keywords that your audience may look for. That way you get clicks and traffic to your posts.
